The owner installs your floor
Everton is on the job doing the work, not sending a crew and checking in by phone. When you talk about the layout, you are talking to the person who will cut it.
Columbus, Ohio
Anyone can quote you a price per square foot. We quote you the whole floor: what comes out, what gets fixed underneath, what goes down, and what leaves in our truck.
Owner installed Insured 6 month workmanship warranty
01 / What you are paying for
Two quotes for the same room can be a thousand dollars apart and neither one tells you why. The difference is almost never the plank. It is what happens underneath it. Here is the whole stack, top to bottom.
The part you actually see.
Baseboard and quarter round go back on, thresholds get cut to meet the next room, and grout, caulk and reducers close every edge. Then the debris leaves in our truck, not in your driveway.
What a cheap bid skips here
A cheap bid leaves the old baseboard on and hides the gap with caulk. You see that gap every day for ten years.
Plank, tile or vinyl.
The material gets laid out dry first so the seams land where they should, the pattern stays random, and the cut pieces end up along the wall instead of in the middle of your living room.
What a cheap bid skips here
Racking the floor takes an extra hour and no one bills for it. Skip it and you get repeating planks and a short cut piece in the doorway.
Between the floor and the trouble.
Foam, cork or a poly barrier depending on what is under it. Over a Columbus basement slab this is what keeps ground moisture out of your floor, and it is also what makes the room sound solid instead of hollow.
What a cheap bid skips here
This is the cheapest layer to leave out and the one you notice first. A floor without it clicks under your feet in month two.
Where the job is won or lost.
We check the subfloor with a straightedge, screw down anything that moves, patch the low spots and pour self leveler where the slab has drifted. A floor is only as flat as what is under it.
What a cheap bid skips here
This is the step that costs a day and gets cut from a low bid. Lay a rigid plank over a wavy subfloor and the joints separate, no matter what the box says.
Included in the number.
The old carpet, tile or vinyl comes up, the staples and thinset come off, and all of it leaves with us. We look at the bare subfloor together before anything new goes down, so nothing gets covered up quietly.
What a cheap bid skips here
Ask whether removal and disposal are in the price. A number that looks lower usually means a dumpster you are renting yourself.
Every one of those five is inside the number we give you. Ask the other bid which ones are inside theirs.
What we install
Bring us a photo of something you liked, or come to the estimate with nothing at all. Either way we will tell you honestly what holds up in a Columbus house and what does not.
03 / How we quote
Most flooring quotes are a single figure with no breakdown, which is exactly why they change halfway through. Ours names every line: what comes out, what gets fixed underneath, what goes down, and what leaves in our truck. You can hold it next to any other bid and see, line by line, where the cheaper one got cheaper.

Everton started Ever USA in 2024 after 3 years installing floors for other people. The company is small because the work is his name.
Everton is on the job doing the work, not sending a crew and checking in by phone. When you talk about the layout, you are talking to the person who will cut it.
Every installation carries a six month workmanship warranty. If a seam lifts or a board moves, call and we come back and fix it.
Ever USA Flooring & Remodeling LLC carries insurance and has been registered in Ohio since 2024. Ask for the certificate and you will get it.
The whole job runs in whichever one you prefer, from the first walkthrough to the last question about a transition strip.
05 / Where we work
Most of our work is in the Columbus suburbs, in houses built between the 1950s and the early 2000s. That matters: we know what is usually under the carpet in a Worthington ranch and what a Grove City basement slab does in February.
FAQ
Straight answers about how the work runs in Columbus. If yours is not here, text it to us.
Most flooring jobs run 3 to 5 days from tear out to the last piece of trim. A full bathroom or kitchen remodel is closer to 1 to 2 weeks. We give you the number for your room at the estimate, not a range off a website.
Usually two installers and a helper, and Everton is one of them. You are not going to meet a salesperson on Monday and a crew you have never seen on Tuesday.
Yes. Removal of the old carpet, tile or vinyl, pulling the staples or thinset, and hauling all of it away are inside the number we quote. So is the subfloor prep. Those two lines are where cheaper bids usually get cheaper.
Every installation carries a 6 month workmanship warranty. If a seam lifts, a board moves or a grout line cracks in that window, call and we come back and fix it. Outside that window, call anyway and we will tell you honestly what it will take.
We do the flooring, tile, and the carpentry side of a remodel ourselves. Plumbing and painting we bring in trusted people for, and you see that on the scope before we start. We would rather tell you who is doing what than pretend one person does everything.
No. The estimate is free, it happens at your house, and you leave with a written scope you can hold next to any other bid. Text a photo of the room to (614) 900-2584 first if you want us to know what we are walking into.
Zelle, Cash, Check. There is no financing, and there is no deposit that disappears: you know the schedule before anything starts.
We cover about 30 miles around Columbus, which includes Dublin, Westerville, Worthington, Gahanna, New Albany, Hilliard and the rest of the Central Ohio suburbs. Larger projects further out, just ask.
Yes. Everton is Brazilian and the whole job can run in English or Portuguese, whichever is easier for you.
