Hardwood & Laminate questions
How long does a hardwood or laminate install take?
Most rooms run 3 to 5 days from tear out to trim. A whole first floor takes longer, and we give you the real number at the estimate instead of a range.
Do I need to move my furniture?
Tell us at the estimate. We plan the job around what is in the room and put it in the scope so it is not a surprise on day one.
Can you install over my existing floor?
Sometimes, and we will tell you honestly when it is a bad idea. Going over a floor that is already moving just moves the problem up an inch.
Is removal and disposal included?
Yes. Tear out, staples and thinset, and hauling it all away are inside the quoted number.
Solid or engineered?
Engineered handles humidity swings better, which matters below grade and over concrete. Solid can be refinished more times. We walk through both with your room in front of us.
Do you install in the Columbus suburbs?
